James Hadley Pair Teardrop Vases

A pair of small vases in a tear drop shape with a bulbous base from which a long tapering neck rises flaring to a gilded rim. The neck and base decorated in rich green and brown glazes. The vase bodies decorated in creamy pink ground over which ha sepia-coloured images of flowers and foliage front and back. Gilt banding to the base, neck collar and rim. Both vases have the same design number to the base but one is slightly taller than the other.

Circa 1899

Condition: No damages or restoration. No crazing and no significant rubbing to the gilding.

Height: (approx) 21cm (one slightly taller than the other).
