Royal Doulton Keramet Vase

‘Keramet’ was a process created by Doulton to simulate a metal finish on pieces and was particularly used to decorate Art Nouveau relief moulded vases by artists Francis Pope and Mark Marshall.
This tall slender vase is decorated in relief with a mermaid, fish and underwater plants by Francis C Pope, whose monogram appears on the base.
Circa 1905
Condition: In good condition with no cracks or repairs. The appearance in the images, of rubbing to high points is not a fault but part of the decorative effect.
