A pair of ewers ornately decorated with a frieze of raised putti or Mer people around the shoulders and grotesque sea monsters forming the handles. The body of the ewers with applied gilt fern leaf decoration upon a blush ivory ground.

Condition: The decoration is in good order and the gilding remains bright and vibrant. Both ewers have had professional restoration to the pourers/lip
