Mintons Spherical Bottle Vase

A twin handled bulbous vase where the spherical body has a flattened top from which rises a collared neck. Gilded handles to either side of the neck. Richy decorated with gilt flowers and brambles on a cobalt blue ground. Incised gilt banding to the vase shoulder and neck collar.
Circa 1873
Condition: In excellent condition with no damages or repairs. The cobalt blue ground remains bright and lustrous and the gilding remains bright with no rubbing apparent. The incised decoration remains crisp and clear.
